Cold Weather Maintenance
In freezing conditions. the crank vent system produces more condensation. which can freeze and cause blockage.
Recommendation:
Clean your catch can weekly when temps are near freezing.
If temperatures drop below 32°F (0°C). disconnect the catch can and reinstall the original PCV hose to prevent damage to engine seals.
